1) UMCOR
UMCOR received $3 million to provide over 1,600 small grants
and partial pay-back loans to boost incomes of families in
rural communities. UMCOR also contributed $1.2 million of
its own funds to this project. In addition, the RS and Federation
Ministries of Refugees and Displaced Persons each contributed
an additional $289,000 to the project.
CCC Livno is taked over responsability and activities of
UMCOR Kupres AoR 11 municipalities (Bugojno, G.Vakuf/Uskoplje,
Glamoč, Jajce, Kupres, Donji Vakuf, Livno, Tomislavgrad, Novi
Travnik and Travnik) in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
2) IRC
USAID provided $1.4 million to IRC for training, grants and
loans to returnees. Twenty percent of the grants and loans
will be reserved specifically for women returnees. The project
also helped build the capacity of several community-based
local NGOs and cooperatives in 14 targeted areas.
CCC Livno is local organization that implement the project
in Minicipalities of Livno, Kupres and Glamoč.
